#3: Sucker Punched By Life [Podcast]

Posted on April 2, 2013November 30, 2020 by Ando Mierzwa

Welcome to the third episode of the Fight for a Happy Life podcast, Sucker Punched By Life.

In this show, we talk about — POW! — being sucker punched! No matter how much we try to eat healthy, stay fit, make smart investments, and connect with reliable people, life has a way of sneaking up and smacking us in the face.

Building on the ideas shared in “Are You a Fighter?”, and “Win Every Argument,” this show will help you get back on your feet the next time life takes you by surprise.

What’s the difference between a cheap shot and a sucker punch?

Hmm… I usually only talk about cheap shots in the realm of sports. Like hitting after the bell. Or below the belt. A sucker punch can be anywhere, anytime!

This episode has so much value in it, that I just can’t begin to explain. First, it’s hilarious! Secondly, it’s life knowledge that no one teaches … one has to figure it out or find it themselves. And it took me decades to figure it out. If only we had parents that taught us these things! Imagine how empowered we all would be. I left an email for Sensei Ando about how valueable these podcasts were, then kept listening, then realised it became EVEN MORE valuable! I was thinking, how much value can this guy give? It’s a great place to be… Great example for all. THank you Sensei Ando… I was having such a bad day, but I wrote down your balancing on one foot exercise… and will do it… even at the office! Because I just don’t care what they think! “Don’t be afraid to be called crazy or strange.. all geniuses are.”

ANNA! I’m always happy to hear from you! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you so much for your continued support! It warms my heart knowing you’re out there fighting the good fight… and occasionally standing on one foot!

I completely agree that all children should be raised with the basic life lessons that martial arts teach so well… that’s why I teach kids! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks again for sharing your light!

I really enjoyed this podcast. From my experience I have come to know how unbalacing this things can be the hard way. This podcast makes complete sense. I can’t wait to try the one leg balance solution.
    Thank you
Keep up the good work sir
